Tour Itinery
Tours leave from our gallery at the Ballachulish Visitor Centre in the village of Ballachulish 1 mile from Glencoe, although local pick up can be arranged. Your guide will then assess the weather, light and your level of fitness and abilities before selecting the locations for the tour. Don't worry, Glencoe offers fantastic locations for everyone so even if you have mobility issues we will keep you close to the vehicle so you get the best out of your day.
You will then jump into our 4x4 and we head up to the heart of the glen chasing the light. All tours are tailored to your skill set and we go at your pace. It is all about having fun and learning in a relaxed and friendly environment. If you are on a full day then we will stop off at the Kings House Hotel for a spot of lunch, so bring a few pennies.
It does occasionally rain, this is the Highlands of Scotland after all, so in order to capture the drama and moods of Glencoe, "glen of weeping", we still run tours in inclemental weather. Huddled under our giant umbrella, you will witness spectacular waterfalls ideal for slow shutter images.
We ask all clients to bring good footware, full waterproofs and plenty of warm clothes. It can get chilly even on the warmest of days. In terms of camera equipment, most important of all is fully charged batteries. If you have tripods and or filters that would be great although we do carry spares. We do camera hire for £15 for a half day or £30 for a full day.
